Guest guest
Hi Dawn... Yay, glad to hear from you and that you've had the same experience! I am much more forgiving of myself also, and I'm much more happy and relaxed just following my intuition in many different areas of my life. It feels like I'm on the right track instead of always re-evaluating what I'm doing. I do have my moments, like when my jeans were tighter a couple weeks ago, but for the most part, this is awesome! :-) From: Dawn Rittenbach To: IntuitiveEating_Support Sent: Thu, August 19, 2010 4:10:52 PMSubject: Re: Intuitive walking... and everyone- YES!!!! I've recently had that experience myself. I found it happening with my exercise also. One day, I gave myself permission to take a nap if I wanted, but I had to really want it, (much like we do with food,) and while I was checking that, challenged myself to be productive for a short while after the kids went down, but before I napped. I am now on week 3 of exercising, I've had only a handful of naps, my house is cleaner, and best of all. I'm happier. Yes, I'm happier. I was talking to my husband just the other night. I was saying how, I haven't lost weight, but. . . and he goes, before I can finish, ". . . your attitude is different." He's right. I'm so much more forgiving of myself. I needed that, and not just in my relationship with food. As with many people, I'm my own worst critic, and this process is helping me be gentler with myself in so many ways. I look forward to the continuation of the journey.Dawn R
