Guest guest
Harry, does your endocrinologist not allow you to adjust your Humalog based on the number of carbohydrates eaten at each meal? If not, ask them what is the point on being on multiple daily injections if you are restricted to a certain number of carbohydrates per meal? Might as well go back to regular and NPH and at least only have to do two shots per day! Jen

Guest guest
Hello, Harry, Sorry about the crash. I was reassured, however,, to learn that I am not the only person who feels like the world is going to end with a GLR in the low 80s. When I tell my diabetic friends that I don't like to get into the low 80s, they ask why not and say that this is in the normal range. I reply that it may well be, but that I don't like shaking and freezing until I put on gloves to wear inside the house. Dotty -- Email services provided by the System Access Mobile Network. I keep telling her but this is in the normal range, and she keeps saying it makes no differenve, when you are sweating for no other reason than a low sugar reaction. Guest guest
That was happening to me also . The doctor told me to run my sugars a little higher and the low symptoms came back. However, I still don't feel any symptoms until the sugars are in the 50's . _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Jesso Sent: Monday, May 09, 2011 12:24 PM To: blind-diabetics Subject: Re: I crashed today In a way I would rather this than what I get, which is little to no symptoms most of the time till I'm quite low.
