Guest guest
I finally got my computer to scan the images of my great-granddaughter, Kylie. These are about 2 weeks old. She was 6 weeks old when the pictures were taken. She is a very sweet, good-natured baby. I need to scan a bunch of pictures, but today was not a good day. Most of it I spent in bed because I was tired, had muscle aches, and was too weak to do anything. I have been up for over an hour now, but will lie back down soon for a while. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel more human. Chemo can be very hard on your body. Lynda

Guest guest
Wish I could see the pics Lynda... (I don't get the emails in my box, and does not archive them.) I bet those grandkids are adorable. Rest up and don't overdo it. I'm sorry you are going through this chemo and wish you didn't have to! Guest guest
I sent two pictures to your other address, hope you get them. I am up and out of bed today, hope to spend most of the day OUT of bed and feeling better. Yesterday was not good. I wish I did not have to do this chemo either, but it is what it is. I just have to get through it. Guest guest
Thanks Lynda, I got them. As I replied to you, your grandkids are just adorable....some of the most adorable faces I've ever seen! I'm so glad you have such blessings in your life. Hope today is a good day for you! Guest guest
Thanks, Patty, we think they are adorable also. I am better today, but tired. I may lie down a lot, but I do feel better than yesterday. Still taking anti-emetics for the nausea, but not queasy anymore when I take them. The first two days I was still queasy even with them. Hope my appetite comes back a bit today. Yesterday was tough with trying to eat. Lynda At 08:34 AM 9/21/2008, you wrote: >Thanks Lynda, I got them. Guest guest
Hi Lea, Kylie is a very good baby. Very good natured, seldom cries. I did much better today, went back to bed twice for half an hour, but have been up all afternoon. I have muscle aches like I have a flu or something. They said to take tylenol, which I did. I hate to take it, but I am miserable without it and I am miserable with other symptoms, so will take it when it gets bad enough. I had a bad headache two days, but none today. More chemo on Wed. if my blood counts are good enough. Hope you are doing well. Don't overdo it. Lynda At 06:56 PM 9/20/2008, you wrote: >Oh, Lynda, Kylie looks like an Angel on a cloud. Guest guest
Lynda, I hope that the symptoms will get better with each treatment. We all hate to see you go through all this, and it really is heartbreaking. Honey, little Kylie is so cute, and the twins must be a lot of work. We have so many pictures of our grandchildren too. I will scan some and share them with the group soon. We are worn out, and then we had to go to our other home to water the lawns and to bring our lovely pots home. Tonight will be an early bedtime for us. I think that I must have Anemia, because I get so tired so quickly. My doctors told me that I am not absorbing my food. Have you been tested for this, because you should be getting plenty of high protein foods?? We will be here for you on Wednesday, and every day that you have chemo. Your journey is our journey too. Sending love and prayers to our special lady....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`` Re: Kylie Hi Lea,Kylie is a very good baby. Guest guest
Fortunately Kylie and the twins have different parents. One is my great grandchild. The twins are grandchildren. Symptoms of chemo generally get worse with each treatment. Hopefully you will get some rest tonight. Guest guest
I dont know much about Kylie's journey so far, but I think its good you have this question. Its more effective to apply a solid block of edf/mehta casting when trying to harness the rapidly growing childs growth. The solid block of EDF/Mehta casting has the ability to train the young spine, muscles, ligaments to grow straight gently & permanently. If the cast or series of casts is removed prematurely, the spine is likely not to hold in that more corrected position, and will/may regress at every growth spurt... A child treated under 2 yrs, under 50 Cobb has the best chance at growing straight if ET principles are followed and the series of EDF/Mehta casts are applied properly w/ solid follow through. Please read Growth as a corrective force in the early treatment of progressive infantile scoliosis, " by Mehta. Its a great resource and so is CAST, so please keep the questions coming.
