So does that mean you really need to do the high dose of A before supplementing it at the therapeutic level? Otherwise you'll make matters worse? Does anyone know if the same plan works for magnesium in regards to feeding the biofilm? Better to be deficient on magnesium than feed the biofilm?>> it does because the level then goes beyond what the measels can utilize and gets to the body strengtheing the immune system to finally kick back in and kill the measels> > > > From: > Sent: Sunday, January 16, 2011 2:05 AM> To: mb12 valtrex > Subject: Re: Do Low Levels of Vitamin A Feed Measles? After my daughter's titers lab came back in November my daughter was put on Vitamin A at 5000 iu's once a day because her measles titers were high but my dan wasn't ready to do the high Vitamin A protocol .So she said let's start out at 5000 iu's once a day and see how she does. I started her on them but didn't see any change in behavior so thought she was ok with it. However since around that time I have noticed that her belly has been getting bloated and I never put two and two together until she started eating less and less. I spoke with my dan and she said that it could be a supplement and was thinking maybe Caritine and said to stop everything and add back one at a time. Anyway so far I haven't added back Vitamin A and the bloated belly is gone and she is back to eating...so I'am thinking that maybe we are just making it mad :( but not doing anything positive for it by giving such a small amount. Any thoughts?> > > > > ----------------------------------------------------------> > To: mb12 valtrex > Sent: Sat, January 15, 2011 11:04:26 PM> Subject: Do Low Levels of Vitamin A Feed Measles? Would someone please explain this, I don't quite understand this. Seems like there would be a fine line between not giving enough Vitamin A and giving too much and causing toxicity? So how does one determine the right amount?> > The same goes for Magnesium--is this actually a bad supplement to give? As in, it feeds biofilm? According to a recent test my son needs a LOT of both Vitamin A and Magnesium. So I am not sure how much (or little) to give now. If there is any information or articles on this I would> really appreciate seeing them as I have been unable to find more solid information dealing with either one of these theories.>
