GROUPS

Starting April 3, 2010, Jused Melian of Children’s Center

for Development and Behavior will begin an All Girls Social group on

Saturdays. It will be part of the already established social skills group

that runs from 2-5pm. This group is appropriate for girls ages 9 to 13

who are high functioning or typically developed. It will be run

from 230-330 pm.

The girls will be pulled out of the established social skills

group from 230-330pm and below are some of the topics that will be discussed:

Growing Up

Keeping Secrets

Puberty Related Issues

Feelings

How to eat and stay healthy

Hygiene

Cost: $45.00 for the hour.

Starting April 20, 2010, Jused Melian will begin a Basic Life

Skills Group for Grirls on Tuesdays from 430-530pm. This group is appropriate

for girls ages 6 to 11. Below are some of the topics that will be discussed:

Basic Relationship Information

Using Money

Telephone Etiquette

Stress Management

Hygiene

Utilizing Community Resources

Getting Along with Others

Demonstrating Proper Manners
