Hi.Correct me if I am wrong, but will adding Lugol's iodine drops to the water container that stores the drinkable water not take care of flouride? Both are hallides.------------Ratan Singh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsych@...- Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education; Life Member, Nutrition Soc. of India; Member ISOM- Author of "Nutrition & Supplements in Major Mental Illnesses";- M.A. (Psychol), Postgraduate Diploma in Medical & Social Psychology, Ph.D.;- Certified Behavior Therapist (from late Prof. J. Thanks so much for your responses. The problem is that there is that not enough studies have been done to see if flouride is absorbed by the skin. I do have a reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink already in place. Unfortunately, we will be exposed to this any time we go to restaurants since all food prep will be done with this flouridated water. Dr. Mercola has a wonderful interview on his website that explains thoroughly why flouride is so detrimental to our health. I'm beyond frustrated that the city is forcing us to take this drug and that now I have to spend money to have it removed....sounds familiar.

My neighbor is having a whole house system to remove flouride put in (she already has a regular one, but this one is specifically for flouride) and this new unit will cost $2500 installed. That seems very pricey and I feel like there has got to be a better way.
