Guest guest
Hi a ~ So glad you have a good team of doctors. I would NOT see the PS that put them in for removal of them, unless he agrees to do the enbloc proceedure and use drain tubes. That is so important because if you dont remove the capsules, then you have toxic debris and your body will think it still has implants in there, as well as give it time to roam your body. The drain tubes keep the swelling down, and help keep from getting seromas and all. I read that IBC does not respond to antibiotics, so I feel comfortable with the fact that yours did. I think keeping a close eye on them is a excellent idea........ insurance..... I wish you the best of luck with explant ! ! The sooner you get them out and detox, the sooner you will start to feel better, and maybe get some of this stuff to reverse, and go away, ( joint pain and all ) Hugs N Prayers Dede **************Get fantasy football with free live scoring. Guest guest
I would never recommend going back to the doc that put the implants in. It's because they often don't take our complaints seriously and almost seem offended that we want to ruin their work. They almost never remove them right. Seek a qualified explanting surgeon and don't settle for less than a total capsulectomy with drains, or en bloc removal. Patty > > Hi dede, > thanks for the info. Guest guest
I know but my surgery was over friday about 4:30 Maybe that is why they do not know anything yet because of the weekend and it's only Monday Sandy~ Cultures usually only take 48 hours to grow, they must be doing a sensitivity test as well.....
