Guest guest
Someone wondered: " It would be interesting to discover whether or not GlucoComplete and Metformin can do the same thing. I have never taken Metformin, so I can't say anything about its effect on my body. Those who have taken it, please comment. " " Me: Metformin works. It decreases insulin resistance which is the claim to the GlucoComplete product. More important it controls the release of glucose from the liver, a process broken in diabetics. It promotes a gut hormone which aids in prompting insulin release for those still producing it. For some it has a small weight loss effect. The literature on this drug is massive and easily found. As with any drug it is not a substitute for weight loss and proper diet and exercise for best results. The most often reported side effect is some gastric distress untill the body accommodates it. One starts with small doses over time to address this possible effect. [ XB IC|XC
