Guest guest
Hi, See if you can get an amplifier for your hadset. Most let you adjust the volume of both the earpiece and the mic. Sent from Brett's iPhone. > I've been way too busy at work lately. I have to take phone calls and most of the time I use a head set. Some callers have trouble hearing me, or when they are on a mobile phone, I have trouble hearing them. That's when I have to pick up the receiver. I've been waking up the past couple of nights with neck pain from this, and I use tilinol, " excuse my misspelling " and that helps some. Can't take anything with asprin because of surgery I had 2 years ago, gastric bypass. Any other suggestions of how I can help this problem? It's not going to slow down at work for a while, and this pain has been known to give me a head ache. I'll take any suggestions or comments. > >

Guest guest
Hi , One thing you might try is some very warm *MOIST* heat on your neck and shoulders. Also, get some Stopain (not the spelling, S t o p a I n, at Wal-mart in the pharmacy section. It sells for around $9 or $10. It comes in a roll on, a spray or a gel, For your use you probably would like the roll on. Now, put that warm, moist hand towl on the back of your neck and your " Traps. Leave it for 3 or 4 minutes, re-heat the towel and then apply the Stopain to the back of your neck and shoulders. Replace that wet very warm towel and leave it on for another 5 or so minutes. This may well take care of that pain. I use the Stopain, BioFreeze and the warm, moist heat on my clients who have chronic muscle pain and it works wonders. The BioFreeze is another topical pain killer and you can get it from many home health suppliers or a massage supply store. Either work really well and the BioFreeze does *NOT* have the extract from hot peppers in it. Most all topical pain killers use that ingredient. Use them together and you can take care of most muscle pain. Be advised that both also *could* cause skin irritation to some sensitave areas such as the front of the neck, breast area and areas around the groin. Further, be *SURE* to wash your hands well before touching your face. Guest guest
, Moist heat will be even more effective and I would suggest the use of some sort of topical pain reliever such as Stopain. Do not leave the heat on too long otherwise it tends to work contrary to what you want. While the heat will cause temporary increases in blood circulation if left too long it tends to shut down increased circulation because the body has realized that something is wrong so better shut down the increased circulation. Similarly cold acts much the same. A cold pack applied to a recent injury will cause temporary reduction in blood circulation but leaving the cold on too long will signal the body to whip up the circulation to warm up that part which is too cold. (LOLLOLLOL) Alternating hot and cold will also work wonders for muscle pain. Doubt it will last too long though. neck and shoulder pain! Guest guest
Hi , To get moist heat just wet a rolled up hand towel (don't think you need anything as large as a bath towel) and wring it out until it stops just really leaking water then put it in the microwave for 1 minute. Be very careful as the inside of the towel will be quite hot. Now, unfold the towel enough to put it on your neck. Again, be very careful of the heat. Now, the Stopain (S t o p a I n) does come in a roll on. Also, are there any topical creams that are rool on? I don't like getting that stuff on my hands if I don't have to. neck and shoulder pain! I've been way too busy at work lately.
