Guest guest
, You might be glad to know that Kroger and their siblings are starting to carry more and more gluten free products. Seems to me that I saw something on gluten free not all that long ago. I will take a look for you. Guest guest
I am coeliacs and type one diabetic. I can tell you that in recent times there have been studies into the relationship between gluten protein intolerance and the onset of diabetes and, of course, coeliacs disease. These studies have shown there is an association and for some people, if they were susceptible to diabetes, avoiding gluten could prevent the onset. This is not 100% proven as I have said but there is mounting evidence. There's more than one way to acquire type one diabetes I guess. ________________________________ To: blind-diabetics Sent: Tue, 22 February, 2011 5:29:44 AM Subject: gluten free? Guest guest
If anyone has used quinoa in foods, could you tell me which one is most comonly used? I see, for example on nutsonline.com there different colors and types of quinoa. I'm just getting started. I'm doing this in regards to trying to lose more after my weightloss surgery over 2 years ago. I've lost 70 pounds since the surgery, but most people lose more than that. With my other medical issues, I can't complain. I've reading up on this on my own, not by doctor's orders. Thanks for any help. gluten free?
