Does your fada's mood parallel nada's?

(yes), but I can't believe how much! I have been setting strong boundaries so

nada's hoovering like crazy. After six months of saying the worst things

possible to me, she is now acting like I am an angel. She is " pretending " to be

ok with my change in career and all of a sudden fada is on board too.

The thing that really struck me this Sunday was- fada gaslighted too...I don't

know exactly what's going on. I have been fighting nada and fada since Jan to go

to business school and today fada asked me what kind of school I was going to,

what kind of degree I was getting, and what kind of job I'd have after. We have

belabored these details for 8 months now! When I went through all the details

(again), he said it all sounded like a really solid plan- the complete opposite

of " you're ruining our life and shaming the family. "

sigh...yes ...it's all part of their " game " of life...my faa was

always is a bad mood if nada was...he always mirrorored whatever mood she

was in and what ever thoughts she had...sometimes I wondered if he could

think on his own...your nada probably casually mentioned you going to

business school to a stranger in the grocery store or something and the

response was good for you for knowing what you wanted to do...so then nades

sees it's not the end of the world...
