Hi dede,

thanks for the info. Believe me, when i woke with the rash i was

online rigt away and saw the ibc and read everything i could find on

it.

The doctor I saw was at the breast health center at california

pacific medical center in san francisco. One of the best places to

go for BC. I also was seen by one of the best breast cancer surgeons

in Sf who diagnosed me as looking fine and it was consistant with an

infection. She said she has seen these implants cause infections

like that.

She watched the MRI on dvd and said the radiologists report was

certainly more excitting than the mri was. So she led me to believe

its all cleared now and I told her I intended to have them removed.

You know how doctors are tho--she wouldnt say anything else negative

about them. Just sort of silently agreed with me to have them

removed.

She recomennded i go back to my PS that put them in. He refered me

to her when the trouble started. I think they are friends or at the

least know each other. Sound like I really need another opinion? The

doctor in the hospital who sees cancer every day (well they both do)

didnt seem overly concerned. She said they appeared cystic (fluid

filled). And wrote a couple notes for the mri tech which i was

having done after that. I almost feel like Im wishing for cancer now

in the fact I cant accept im fine in her opinion. She wants me back

in 3 months and she wants another mri done at that time too.
