Guest guest
Found out from talking to oen of my coworkers about nadas vet friend, apparently 'she's a little off' according to one person and 'she's nutty' which fits, theese people would have easily been conned into helping nada since they were just as wacky as she is. Weird how these people find eachother. proflaf
Guest guest
This is how I found my KO friends. Nada found other Nada's to befriend in her little world so naturally we spent time together. At first none of us kids knew what the heck BPD even was…we just all thought we were blessed with moms that were a little off, funny how they congregate. Later I was the one who discovered BPD/NPD with help of nada's physician which lead to me doing lots of research and reading books like SWOE amoung others and of course this group. As I talked to my KO friends about this they also realized their mothers were BP or BPD and our bonds grew tighter. One of my friends I have known since I was in the 4th grade, the other since I was about 6-7th grade. And all three of our moms were tight growing up. About 10 years ago I met another friend whose mom also fit the bill to a tee, and about 1 year ago she ceased all contact w/ her nada too. Just the other day while talking to a friend I also met about the same time/same place 10 years ago she also was telling me of her mom who sounds like a nada. I did not bring up the BPD but I have feeling we could have some deep talks in the near future if she needs an ear. But these comments of them being " a little off, a few fries short of a happy meal, a few bricks short of a load, something not quite right there, a little nutty " yep heard em all! HA! so true.
