Hello Ilena, October 11 I am writing to let you know our dear friend andra of Toronto Ontario is in hospital with acute leukemia. She has started chemo yesterday and has been advised she will be in hospital at least a month. The doctors are talking of a stem cell transplant and she has been placed on the registry list for a match. Please let the group know of her sudden and very serious illness.

andra asked me to request anyone in our group who had this diagnosis to let her know (but) for the time being I will accept her emails and pass them along as she does not yet have a lap top in hospital. In the subject line please put 'for andra.' My name is Gail and my email address is seagail2@...

She has asked that you not send email directly to her at the present time. I do talk to her every day.Please keep andra in your thoughts and prayers. with love to all of you,Gail
