Guest guest
Oh, Sweet Lynda: I am so sorry that you are having such a bad time after your chemo. Please just allow your body to recover, because you have had a bad day. You are more important than any chores that need to be done. We are all praying that you will not need the transfusions, but if you do, they will make you stronger. Honey, I wish that we could help you, it seems unfair that you are alone. The breathing is serious, and you must call an ambulance if you get worse. I wonder why your doctor would allow you to go home when you are so sick! We are happy that you will have a break from all this soon....then your healing will begin. Sending love and prayers to you....Lea and ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```````````` Update on chemo Did my chemo today, almost ended up in the hospital for blood transfusions. Very low red blood counts. If I had been having problems with breathing, I would, right this minute, be in the hospital getting a transfusion. Low white blood counts also. Tomorrow I have to go back and get a shot of Neulasta for the white blood counts. I have to watch for problems with breathing, because if that happens, I will have to go in for transfusions.I am very tired and very weak. I am unsure how much I can get done of the chores I need to do. Probably not much. I will be spending a lot of time in bed.I do get a week off from treatment so hopefully the blood counts will rebound. My next treatment is scheduled for two weeks from today. I am relieved to have a break in the schedule. I hope my energy level will be higher by the end of the two weeks. Not much else to report this week.Lynda
Guest guest
Lea, I am not having trouble breathing. That is why I did not have to have a transfusion yet. It will happen in the next week, at least by Friday. I will let them know if I start having problems breathing. Don't worry, they know what they are doing and I know what I am doing. I am only 2 miles from a hospital if something went wrong. I do not feel sick, I feel tired and weak. Take care of yourself, we all love you.
