. . . . mother of three daughters affected by failed breast implants.

OK, you know what...(IF YOU HAVE NOT NOTED BEFORE NOW) the FDA does NOT want to make any " choices" to move more aggressively to protect the public heath of ANYONE, (whatever your age may be) because they have made the clear "choice" to buckle under to industry.

It is all about them, and those entangled within The Art of Medicine, NOT about trying to uphold THEIR OATH of First, do no harm to THAT HIGHEST OF HIGH STANDARD, because our society wants to please themselves FIRST.... rather than to make excellent health care choices.

So, don't complain when issues don't work out for YOU, those of you innocent ones that are going to do the suffering, so that THEY, those within the Art of Medicine can publish THEIR PAPERS IN THEIR JOURNALS.

They rather cover their own tails, while they bushwhack the innocent of humanity, all of us... as they climb the ladder of success for themselves.

You don't like it...well, get use to it...because this is the way of the world.

Trust me on this one...and I myself (the simple Missouri housewife) have become very hardened to the world, to suffering and all of this crapola.

I learned this (truth) long ago, but December 2007 when I was given 'the token FDA conference call' by Rumm, MD/FDA and his other peers on line that day, I knew that they really DO NOT GIVE A DAMN about really upholding their oath of First, do no harm with ANY MEDICAL OUTCOME of what IS EXERTED/TURN ON with the variants of key genes by their offending triggers, called

medicine, vaccines, dentistry and medical devices (this would include the chemical adjuvancy of ANY BREAST IMPLANT) when entangled with the genetics of any patient/offspring included , let alone the massive harm that HAS BEEN DONE with the chemical adjuvancy of silicone gel breast implants THAT DO exert, turn on the vairants of genes, OF KEY GENES of plastic surgery patients across USA, and the world...via the placental barrier through fetal cells.

Breast feeding...YES, was/is/ will be, just extra "hits".

Listen, the IOM, NCI, NIH along with the FDA and many divisions of medicine/science and research ARE AT FAULT here...not just one to point a finger at, but many.

Hey, I have kept a log of those who failed humanity, but more importantly FAILED THEMSELVES and failed to really uphold their own oath of First, do no harm that that highest of high standard....

Folks, go back and read the bible...even if you do not believe in it...because if you do not get it yet, we have a real 911 on our hands...and we did it to ourselves. Good luck ~Take care, CFM Fuchs-sey

P.S. you need not listen to my words..but I will continue to state...proteins accumulate on the surface of silicone/silicone breast implants and other silcone implants after they are in the human body as those of us who really want to uphold medicine/science and research to that highest of high standard of first, do no harm incorporate the SCIENTIFIC TRUTH that protein excesses are common in many diseases, primarily those that stimulate the human immune resposne (MS, RA, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, sarcoidosis, other diseases of autoimmunity as well as a variety of cancers-myeloma, lung, brain and others)via the placental barrier through fetal cells.....breast feeding really is/was and will be "extra hits" for genetics, the variants of genes, OF KEY genes that are exerted/turned on.

Enough said.

I could go explain things far, far more indepth, but time does not allow...I am tired and I am sure U R 2.

Good luck with the medical bushwhacking...

PERSONALLY~ I will no longer be taken in by the lies.

Take care, CFM

Protecting public health: FDA should act on report showing rise in serious injuries, deaths from prescription drugs

LV SUN Mon, Oct 27, 2008 (2:06 a.m.)

The Food and Drug Administration received a record number of reports of death and serious injury associated with prescription medications in the first three months of this year.

There were 4,825 deaths and nearly 21,000 serious injuries for the first quarter, according to an analysis of FDA records by the nonprofit Institute for Safe Medication Practices. That is a 38 percent increase over the quarterly average for the previous year.

There appears to be a combination of factors that led to the increase. For example:

• Part of the spike was blamed on the tainted blood-thinner heparin imported from China , which generated 779 reports of serious injury.

• Varenicline, marketed as Chantix, a drug to help patients stop smoking, was blamed for 1,001 cases of serious injury, including 50 deaths.

• Prescription painkillers such as oxycodone and the anti-anxiety medication Xanax were associated with 1,246 deaths. These medications have been widely prescribed and have become well-known as recreational drugs.

The institute says its report may contain only a small percentage of actual cases because the FDA’s records contain voluntary reports of injury associated with prescription medications. What is clear in the report is that there is a serious problem with prescription drug use, and the FDA hasn’t been doing its job, either in issuing warnings or working with other agencies to police doctors who wrongly prescribe medicines.

Although the report lauds the FDA for “promptly and effectively” responding to the heparin crisis, it notes that in other areas the agency has failed to respond.

For example, the drug Chantix has been linked to blackouts, and the Transportation Department has banned its use among pilots and air traffic controllers. After the report was issued last week, the FDA said it would consider a new safety warning for the drug.

The agency should be ashamed that a nonprofit group is doing its work for it by raising concerns about these drugs.

The bottom line is that the FDA should be moving more aggressively to protect the public health.
