Guest guest
Many diabetics have family members who suffer with allergies and food sensitivities. In fact many diabetics themselves suffer with them. As a result of having seveeral family members with allergies and food sensitivities, When I am surfing the internet I am always on the lookout for an article or such that may help them. While doing this I ran into a specialized test called the MRT test, which tests for allergies and sensitivities, such as gluten sensitivities whether or not one has a full blown alergic reaction. I discovered a person, a dietician who offers the test in Seattle, Washington and I gave her a telephone call. She had a list of dieticians who offer this test in conjunction with a physician, who can order the test. I don't know if it would be covered by insurance or not. If you have a family member who suffers from diabetes, gluten allergy or sensitivity, migraine headaches or fibromilgia or chronic fatigue syndrome, you might want to tell them about this test. Of course a long time ago I learned about a test for lactose intolerance, since my daughter suffers with it. I always thought she was a strange kid, since she never liked ice cream. She would rather eat a dill pickle instead of enjoying ice cream with the other kids. My doctor suggested the test for lactose intolerance, which I gave my daughter. It is a simple test. Just have a person drink eight ounces of milk. If this makes them have a belly ache or feel like throwing up or even throws up , then they are lactose intolerent. Once they know this all they have to do to avoid the problem is avoid milk for the most part. The funny thing about the telephone call to the dietician is I learned my very own dietician in Gainesville Georgia can have the same test done. It's a small world. hth, Harry Time prevents all things from happening at once.
