This is old, and my story has been removed by a court order. Could this mean that breast implants are unsafe, because why would anyone want to gag me?

Love to all.....Lea

Subject: Death Is Common Among Women Who Have Had Breast Implants:

My Dear Heidi:

We will never know if your Mother died from breast implants. In my opinion, I believe that she did die from these poisonous devices. It breaks my heart to hear your story, and to be honest this is not the first time that someone has questioned the many deaths from silicone poisoning. There is a lot of information out there on the Internet, particularly on the websites that are devoted to implants and their problems. As a support group leader here in Edmonton, Alberta, I have had more than a thousand sick women contact me. A number of these women have died.

We know, for example, that Tammy Wynette died from breast implants, even if not directly, they were still the cause of her death. Women who have breast implants live a life of pain and suffering, and constant surgeries to replace the ruptured ones. Many women commit suicide because they can no longer live in pain. There are so many well-documented cases that the suicide rate is extremely high in women who have had these devices. The reason for this high rate is because no one believes that we are medically sick, and often our families and friends abandon us as well because they too think that we are mental patients.

I have severe respiratory problems, and I almost died from pneumonia and two silicone-induced pulmonary embolisms. My quality of life is very bad, but I'm fortunate that I have two wonderful doctors who believe in me. I also have a wonderful husband who has stood by me and helped me to get through each day.

My dearest Heidi, I want you to know how sorry I am that this has happened to you and your family. It's tragic that you were robbed of your mother at seventeen. This should make you want to do some research, and then you will be in a better position to know the dangers of all breast implants. Please tell any woman you know who wants them not to get them...and why!

Please, read my story on Ilena's website at http://www.humanticsfoundation.com/lea.html, which will continue as soon as I'm well enough.

With love..........Lea

Hi, my mom, Gail Easterling, had implants when I was about 8 years old (1977?) She died when I was 17 (1987.) She was 49 years old and I still don't know why she got so sick. She suddenly got recurring pneumonia, lupus and other respiratory problems and died within a year. Do you have any information on deaths from implants? Thank you, Heidi Easterling
