Guest guest
Hey Paddy, We've often called these things " Toxic time bombs " on our chest. They ARE! And a ruptured implant upon removal is a nasty thing... That is why en bloc removal is highly recommended, because that scar tissue will keep everything in place. Sometimes the scar tissue is really thin, like a wet paper towel, and other times it is super thick, like a rubber ball shell, and everything in between. When it is thick enough to contain the contents, women can have ruptures and not even know it, though she may notice that her implants are really soft. Removing the mess all together in one piece will keep it from spilling into the chest. Hopefully when you go through explant, you will be able to use a doctor who really knows how to detonate these toxic time bombs! That is why we have our list....and we want to see it grow, but it doesn't grow fast. My concern is that someday our trusted doctors will retire and then who will we send our women to? Have you called anyone there in MN yet?
