Guest guest
Hi, I'm sure this has come up before, but, I'm new and haven't found it yet. How do you make IE and your food choices work with reality? I mean, you might want a cheeseburger, but you might not always be able to get that cheeseburger, or you might not be hungry at 7 am, but you know that you won't get the chance to eat again until noon. I'm currently listening to the audio version and find some of the examples just not realistic. Yes, my child might like tofu, and we do have it often, but I doubt that is she woke and asked for it, I'd have it to pass out for breakfast, thinks like that. I really like the concept and find it is helping me with my relationship with food, but when I can't figure out how to follow it quite the way they are talking, I find myself wondering if I can make it work. Probably doesn't help that I'm having to struggle with people around me who think the concept won't work. My Grandmother told me the other day that I better make peace with being fat, if I'm going to do this. Hence, here I am. Thanks, Dawn
