Lynda, we all love you, and want you to get well. Honey, my neighbour shaved her head before her chemo therapy, and she wore cute little scarves. The one good thing that she had was plenty of support. We lived in a townhouse next door to her, and her balcony was right next to ours. Each day, she would give me a report, and everyone in our complex spoiled her so much. I wish that we lived closed to you, we would make some nice things for you to eat, and take you out for dinner too. Dr. Huang sounds like a special lady, bless her heart for making you happy.

Thank you for sharing your story, because we are all walking down this painful road with you. We do not feel your pain, but we can be your support system to help you to get through this toxic therapy.

Sending tons of love and support..........Lea

Re: Update on chemo

Hi Dede,Shaving my head today. I will probably cry. I washed it today and so much came out when I washed it and lots more when I combed it, nothing will be left very soon. So, off it goes.Got a cute little hat to wear. Don't think I will look at my head for a day or two until I am able to deal with it.Had flu-like symptoms for 2 days but feel better now. Can eat again, somewhat, anyway. Not much appetite. The clinic I go to is in Boulder, an hour away, so help from there is not much good in Greeley. And I am not using services here, so I am sorta out of luck with that quarter. I am sure some of the local churches have people who would help, I just don't know who those people are. There are many, many, many churches in Greeley.LyndaAt 09:28 AM 10/4/2008, you wrote:>Hello Lynda ~>I tell ya, you are certainly going through alot>these days. Lea,

Wish I lived where there was a neighborhood like that, might make it easier.

I do have friends and family for support, none of my family are very

close to me, however.

I thought I could eat lunch, but have changed my mind. I think I

will have to just nibble on a piece of bread or something. I am too queasy.

Thanks for the support and love. I will need it more and more the

next few months.

Love,

Lynda
