Guest guest
Gale....yes, Let Go and Let God and the Serenity Prayer held me together. I used the same two things for strength when I watched my youngest girl (now nearly 40) go through 18 years of drug addiction. She is doing well now but there were times I was sure I would not live to see it. Hang on. Put your eyes on something that you know beyond any doubt you can count on. Start moving forward in your life and keep your eye on what you can count on. For me it's God...may be different for you. But trust yourself. You can make it through. None of us escape pain. I think pain must be like a damn weed under our roots. We have to kill the weeds or we die. Our flowers droop and we fade away. Too much pain changes us inside. Changes our core. We ain't a gonna let that happen to us Gale! MamaSher, age 69.IPF 3-06,NSIP 4-08. OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Longview TX!!!! Oh My, Mama Sher Longview, TX (aka armpit)...
