Hi ,

Being new to all of this, I myself found the site for the Chiari Clinic -

Missouri University/Columbia MO.

So .... in my initial flustered search for even remote understanding of what

I told by my neurologist, I emailed one of the professionals on the site

(after all, they said ... have questions, email us).

Silly me ........ I sent them an email ..... gave the run down, added some

history, asked for

" I'd appreciate any advice, insight etc. that you may be able to offer. "

What did I get???? An email response that was short and to the point ...

--------------------

I cannot comment on your condition specifically without seeing you in

person. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please let me know.

Dr. Diane Mueller, RN, C-FNP

Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner

Division of Neurosurgery

---------------------

Now doesn't that just give you a warm a fuzzy feeling???????

Thank God I found this list. :-)

the Chiari clinic in MO - heard about it?

HI, apparently there is something called " The Chiari Clinc " -

different to " The Chiari Center NYC " with Dr Milhorat. Anyone else

heard about the clinic, does it exsist, is it good... any info would

be great, thanks

I don't know what you expected, but Dr Oro's Chiari Clinic is among

the best anywhere. NO expert will attempt to comment on your

condition without seeing you. It's a necessary part of the process.

Dr. Muellers message was short and to the point, and 100% accurate.

If you want warm and fuzzy.. watch an episode of Barney the purple

dinosaur. If you want help and expert advice, write back to Dr

Mueller. I'm sorry, but Chiari isn't a warm and fuzzy thing.

Hi

Thanks for the tip on watching Barney. I'll keep that in mind. smile. I

prefer Lassie though.

Actually, I know these people are busy and I am not questioning their

ability.

I was not looking for a diagnosis, treatment plan etc. Jeez-o-pete ..... I

am not stupid enough to assume that I'll get " any of these " without being

seen by a doctor (regardless of the medical condition). What I was looking

for was just a little insight, hope or understanding.

>>I'm sorry, but Chiari isn't a warm and fuzzy thing.

Thanks for that clarification Chris....... although I can assure you that I

am fully aware through daily living, that Chiari isn't a warm and fuzzy

thing.

My sincere apologies to anyone who feels that I may have offended them, Dr.

Mueller or Dr. Oro.
