Diabetes Drugs

Pulled From Market

With few exceptions, the type 2 diabetes drugs Avandia,

Avandamet, and Avandaryl will no longer be available in

retail pharmacies, starting in November. Rosiglitazone, an

active ingredient in the three drugs, has been linked to

serious heart risks.
