Guest guest
lol....I bet alot of it has to do with more and more people marrying and having children with others who are not of their nationality coupled with the fact that people of like origins tended to live in the same nieghborhoods - where now we see much more diversity than ever before. So, if you grew up in a Chinese neighborhood, chances are the height and weight of your football team would've averaged < less than say, the average of a football team in a predominantly Nigerian neighborhood. Plus, there are chemicals in things like certain plastics (like sandwhich bags) that mimic the human growth hormone....and all the hormones added to cattle....our kids are getting that. I don't where you could look for rates. A quick google search didn't turn up much. Guest guest
I've just come to the conclusion that everything leeches. BPA is getting phased out but it's plastic - I'm sure there's something else in there leeching that we haven't figured out yet. Wrap in wax paper or parchment paper if you are concerned. But I'm sure it's leeching *something*, too. But don't go live under a rock. Do what you can but don't try to kill yourself over it because then you just might want to become Amish. Guest guest
I am not sure but I think someone said that parchment paper or wax paper was coated with corn. Just so you know. And so you know, I am a big offender in the plastic bag department. Gaaah! I guess I am going to have to find some pyrex, but what to cover the top with. I would use Thermoses but they are made in China and I don't trust their manufacturing enough to trust that their " stainless steel " doesn't have lead. How US kids compare to other kids from around the world, etc. When I was in high school 25 years ago, on our football team the biggest player was 160 lbs. I just can't believe how big my nephews are now !!!! I just don't know where to start, should I call someone in the dairy industry !!
