Guest guest
I just found an awesome article on IE with type 2 diabetes. http://www.lindabacon.org/pdf/BaconMatz_Diabetes_EnjoyingFood.pdf This is more or less the approach I've been taking, and I do mostly feel very satisfied. I've been noticing that I've been labeling some foods bad, which is making me them want them, even when they don't taste that great. I'm going to focus on making all food legal, and really tasting it, and really paying attention to how it makes me feel, and on exercising after higher carb meals. Hey, I also want to give a shout out to you vegans out there. I think that's an awesome choice for you, and I sure would hate to be facing diabetes as a vegan, so I'm really glad that there's some evidence for veganism preventing diabetes/treating diabetes. But I can tell you becoming a vegan is definitely not a choice for me. That would feel much more restrictive than low carbs, as I find my body naturally gravitating away from high carb foods, and towards high protein foods. I totally respect everyone else's choice for themselves on this. Sara
