Have you tried " naturally calm " - it's a mag supp. I started taking it, and I

actually feel calmer. My son is wayyyy calmer. I am really liking it.

I get the organic, raspberry lemon. It's tasty...

Also, is she on Feingold? I found this diet really helped my son and his

aggression. (Elimate tomatoes, cukes, almonds and some fruits.)

frustrated as more demands are put upon her at school. The teachers, therapists

etc. are finding it difficult to move forward with new things due to this

behavior. She has always been this way, even when we had TSS. I know the school

staff is trying everything to redirect this behavior.

may curb some of this aggression??? In the past I have tried the L-Theanine and

natural lithium without much success. I know this question has probably been

beat to death on this board, but I am feeling so frustrated today after speaking

with the teacher. I just wish we could move past this behavior. Sometimes I feel

as if I am getting nowhere, just going in circles.

Valerian Root Extract or GABA can be helpful. You may want to look further to discover the root of the aggression. He could be in pain or it could be seizure activity. Our son was having meltdowns, rages, tantrums, that included self injury and aggression. Turns out they were seizures. Seizures diagnosed and treated. " Meltdowns " gone. Pamela, can you tell me more - my son has meltdowns/rages/tantrums that seriously appear as if he is in a seizure....this can carry on and just like that he snaps out of it and says, " I'm all better now... " My husband jokingly compairs it to a seizure, but I never really believed it could be....I would love nothing more than his meltdowns (specifially at bedtime) to go away....it's really disrupting our family.
