Paddy, some disability suggestions

Hi Paddy,

I wrote to a few friends about disability and how that all works, and got one response today. Here is what she said (this is a woman who found us on this group and has since made a recovery):

Hi Patty,She needs to go ahead and apply for social security disability. It took 3 years before everything finally went through. She has to apply and get denied before an attorney will typically even take on her case. I now have long-term disability insurance at my work...and I'm one year into my 2 year pre-existing condition clause. I want to make sure I'm secure for the future...just in case.
