Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I was wondering those of you who take your insulin by pump why did you decide to do this instead of giving yourself a shot. Guest guest
Anita, I decided to use a pump when I found I was having to take 6 injections a day to keep the BG under good control. My BG has never been this good since using the pump. I am totally blind and do get some help from my partially sighted husband to fill the cartridges. Also, if it starts beeping and changing the battery doesn't stop it and I know there are no kinks in the line, I will have my husband look and see what numbers are flashing. This has happened rarely. I have had a pump for almost 7 years. _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Anita Sent: Friday, February 11, 2011 8:39 AM To: blind-diabetics Subject: Insulin Question Hello Everyone, I was wondering those of you who take your insulin by pump why did you decide to do this instead of giving yourself a shot.
