Hi That was me.

I did reply to your last email, sorry if you didn't get it though.

I went to the cardiologist today and had another ECG, unfortunately I didn't stay to see the Dr, I had such a panic attack I had to leave.

I am going to ring the hospital tomorrow and explain and hope they give me another appointment, I just couldn't stay there.

The nurse told me my ECG was fine better than hers just a bit fast which was to be expected it was only 104 and they like it to be 100 beats.

I wish they could just come to your house and do the tests...lol

Thank you for thinking of me.

Hi, I don't come on here too often, but was wondering if anyone knew what happened to the woman that was dealing with the racing heart around xmas time.I was explanted by Dr Kold and followed her protocol for years, but

last yr developed severe palpitations. She thought is was mold, I did the protocol for that; others thought thyroid, mine is fine. I thought is was menopause as hormones made them worse..........What I recently found out was that I developed SVT's and tachycardia.

I was born with these extra pathways, and so are many of us. Some things trigger them to begin at any point in ones life. The reason I post is because if one is having palpitations and racing heart, like that poor woman who was suffering so, go to a

cardiologist. That is the only way to find out what is causing them. And if anyone knows the status of that woman....thanks.

Jeanne,

We've had many women who have had heart issues, so I'm not sure who

you are referring to...maybe she will see this and speak up.

There are various reasons we have issues with our hearts, all

different. I agree with you about the need to get proper medical

care. What proper medical care is can be defined differently though,

based on your beliefs and views about the modern medical system.

I had palpitations myself for quite a number of months. It was scary.

But mine went away! It was related to thyroid issues, and I never

have had to see a cardiologist. I got rid of them by running on my

treadmill and using thyroid meds. My mother sees a cardiologist, and

when she went to one here in Las Vegas during a visit, the doctor

proved incompetent and incorrectly interpreted her test results. It

makes me really upset to pay good money for poor care.

I'm sorry to hear about your SVT's and tachycardia. Do you need any

special treatment? From what I understand, sometimes no treatment is

needed, if the palpitations are infrequent or last short periods of

time. Were your episodes severe? Were you hospitalized?

Thanks for writing to us! I hope you come to visit more often to

update us!

Patty

Sue,

I'm sorry to hear you are still dealing with the anxiety, and I continue to believe that estrogen is playing a part in this for you!

I believe that the hormones are just intricately involved...every book I have read about hormones leads me to believe this. I'm reading Vliet's book "Screaming to Be Heard" and again I am reminded that estrogen plays a profound role in every part of our body through the monthly cycle. Every cell in our body participates in the ebb and flow, and when we are in our 40's, that ebb and flow begins to change, causing the many symptoms women report in perimenopause and menopause.

http://www.herplace.com/hormone-info/BodyBasics.pdf

In testing, it is important to realize that you want OPTIMAL levels of hormones, not just within range. You can be within range and feel awful. It is so hard working with doctors who don't understand this aspect of interpreting tests.

Sue, have you had a full work up of your hormones?
