Guest guest
I've heard this before but that is NOT part of OA. OA officially has no position on any food of any kind.I'm a very happy OA and tonight I had fish n chips and an ice cream sundae. I've previously had lunch with 10 other OAs at a rice and pasta place.OA is a spiritual program that helps you calm that inner drive to eat - that feeling that's similar to alcoholics are with their drug. Anyone who preaches specific food plans is doing so outside the realm of OA.I'm not pressuring you one way or another but I do want you to have information about the program that doesn't seem to have been presented to you correctly previously. Koenig, author of 'The Rules of Normal Eating' and 'The Food and Feelings Workbook', wrote a great article describing the future of the intuitive eating movement. If you're interested, here's a link to that article: http://www.bulimia.com/client/client_pages/futureofintuitiveeating.cfm also moderates another intuitive eating focussed yahoo board called 'foodandfeelings' or food and feelings for emotional eaters.
