Guest guest
Please read what I've written below, of what I am experiencing. Whatever is happening to me feels very serious-it feels to me that if the doctors do not figure it out-it is going to kill me. Since the doctors have yet to figure it out I am hoping and praying someone else may have knowledge, or know of someone who might give some insight to my situation. The painful episodes began in 2000 and were in the area of my groin- at the top of my left leg. I felt as if something was cutting off or interfering with the blood supply in that area. I had a very tight sensation along the crease at the top of my left leg. This also created pain in my pubic region. I believe during one occasion they did an ultrasound and said there was increased blood flow in my left pelvic area. In later years it seemed it was more in my abdomen but again the same sensation of something being cut off. The word ischemic seemed to be a good description and it would seem like it involved my large intestine. I'm only guessing-these are the terms that seemed to fit best. Again the sensation was completely on the left side. The main sensation was there was interference in something. One time, when I went to the hospital, they did a cat scan and said I had an inflamed colon with wall-thickening. I've always wondered if it was a result of interference somewhere else with the blood supply. In more recent years it seems to be in my chest area and at times feels as if it " affects " my heart and lung system but not that they are the cause. If feels as if something is interfering with the blood flow (?) in the center of my left chest going up to my shoulder and then branches off towards my right arm and to my neck. The sensations have always affected my left side only. The term that I have said over and over when these episodes occur is that it feels like the flow of something is being cut-off/interfered with. Whatever is happening is so awful that it creates a very nauseous feeling within me. Sometimes it stops before the pain gets too severe so the nausea seems the more prominent sensation however it is not the significant event-I don't believe, but rather a reaction to something bigger that is occurring. Thank you for reading this. Anne
