Guest guest Posted March 8, 2002 Report Share Posted March 8, 2002 Dear Group: for the 4th or 5th time since November, I am back to the doctor for another, or contiunuation of a upper respotory infection. I had read that this is frequently a problem before surgery, but how about afterwards? I just can't seem to shake this. The coughing is so tiring...especially at night! Not to mention what the coughing does to still recovering neck muscles and the Chiari itself. I have been put on Advair to help witht he asthma ( one doctor feels that I am coughing from asthma instead of wheezing), I take Victussin at night, and now an antibiotic. The cost of meds this month has been enormous, and it takes the COBRA over a month to reimburse. Any adivice would be appreciated~!
