Guest guest Posted September 10, 2002 Report Share Posted September 10, 2002 Also, forgot to mention, the " gold standard " is NOT to use an IUD as it can cause uterine inflammation and/or irritation in some women which only makes the scar tissue worse. The best treatment is a balloon catheter for a very short period (i.e. less than 2 weeks) to minimize the chance for infection. I saw a non A-list doctor first and he treated me with an IUD...when they remove the IUD...my uterus adhesed back together immediately!!!
