Guest guest
I took the removable cup from the potty chairs and held it in my son's pee stream when he got in the bath (warm water will cause kids to pee almost every time). At first, I held the cup in the water where my son sat. Pretty soon, he would stand in the water and pee in the cup that I held for him. Then we moved to peeing in the cup BEFORE getting in the water and then I held the cup over the toilet bowl and the rest, as they say, is history.I think the trick for a lot of our kids is to bring the 'toilet' to them rather than try to make them pee in the big, cold ceramic thing that happens to be in the bathroom. I don't think my son understood the concept - even though he saw me and and his father everyday using the toilet.Subject: Re: Experience with potty training : need helpTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Thursday, January 20, 2011, 4:43 AM Will he sit on the potty, willingly? lg > > > My 3 year old sone is not potty trained yet. Guest guest
Might be a 'control' thing (he wants to control it.) (if he pees after) and he might be a bit nervous. Are you teaching him on a small potty? I tried with the big one (w/ a seat) and my son was terrified. He trained himself on a small potty and he was very successful. The pushing on his tummy to poo might be he is in pain when he is pooping (that's not good)...does he have hard poops or are they easy to come out? > > > > > > My 3 year old sone is not potty trained yet. How do we pottytrain him. > > Is the 3 day pottytraining program by Lora Jensen good? > >  > > He is removing his diaper whenever it is wet. > >  > > Any suggestions will be helpful. > >  > > Thanks > > >
