Guest guest
I've heard that just about anything you haven't ever tried, taste like chicken. I will try a milk of a different kind. got me some almond milk with 2 carbs per 8 ozes. some coconut milk that has 1 carb per 8 ozes. the rice milk was way to high. the soy milk only had 6 carbs per eight ozes. they also got some sweetened coconut milk and it has 7 carbs per 8 ozes. I sure do love cow milk and going to miss it really bad. also dig butter milk as well. maybe will still treat me self after I have been off of it for a while and got use to it being out of my life. kind of let it visit over the weekend in a few months after my A1C gets back to under seven. I looked for some horse milk and never found any. I never knew you could milk a almond, but I never figured on rice milk either. wonder how buffalo milk would taste? Guest guest
That is funny Mark, milking an almond. The only kind of milk I like is chocolate. So I never drink it unless my sugar is really low. The other day I got up with a 49 BG, so had Cheerios with chocolate milk and half a banana. My BG was 103 2 hours later. _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Mark Ruth Sent: Monday, June 13, 2011 12:02 PM To: blind diabetics Subject: I will try a milk of a different kind. got me some almond milk with 2 carbs per 8 ozes. some coconut milk that has 1 carb per 8 ozes. the rice milk was way to high. the soy milk only had 6 carbs per eight ozes. they also got some sweetened coconut milk and it has 7 carbs per 8 ozes. Guest guest
Not usually, but I have type 2 friend who does get BG into the low 70's or high 60's. Usually he just lays down and it goes up into the 80's. He takes metformin only _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Mark Ruth Sent: Monday, June 13, 2011 2:49 PM To: blind-diabetics Subject: Re: I will try a milk of a different kind. can a type 2 diabetic have sugars that low? Guest guest
Hey! I didn't know that you could milk an almond, a Soya bean, a grain of rice or a coconut! Smile! Buffalo milk is very rich, more than twice as rich as the richest cow's milk. The best cow's milk has about %5 fat content where buffalo milk runs around %12. Guest guest
I read years ago that someone developed a milking machine for guinea pigs. Never been able to try that milk, though, because they only used it for a research project. Best milk I ever tasted was human milk; very rich and sweet. If I could just get some of that for my coffee I don't think I'd need any splenda. Mark

Guest guest
one time my daddy put some of that breast milk in his coffee. he said it was really good. I thought it sounded nasty my self. but babies live on it and dig it a lot. maybe I should try it before I knock it? Re: I will try a milk of a different kind.
