Gale... you are so right! Son in Tokyo. Especially since my 16 y/o granddaughter will be an exchange student to Japan next year! She is so excited she can hardly speak. Hannah has been entranced and fascinated w/Japan since she was a little girl. Speaks some Japanese, has her room decorated likewise, oh on and on. Even buys the special 'comic books' by a Japanese illustrator. The whole family is contributing $$ for her to go. This will absolutely be the highlight of her life! She was born in the wrong country is all.

Oh Gale, would your son send her something from Tokyo? I will be glad to reimburse any amount within reason. Anything....silly....anything....a stamp....

OK, Sher, I think I am tuned in to you and I anticipate your next question will be.. son in Tokyo???

Yes, he has lived and taught at a University in Japan for 16 years. He usually comes home for about a month during Summer break. This year he will not be coming. He just got married.. has to escort a group of Japanese exchange students to Los Angeles in July.. he and new wife and going to LA one week early to Honeymoon, then he will be working, ie: working with the students for another week.. to trip to TX this year won't happen. They both have to get back to Tokyo after LA trip. Yes, maybe I will go meet them in LA for a couple of days. Haven't decided.. to much to think about right now.

Yes, I am here alone.. yep, me, myself and I (and 2 dogs). My sister lives nearby.. came to the funeral. Since then I have had 2 phone calls from her..each time to tell me she had to leave town.. granddaughter graduation in Dallas, wedding in West Texas.

Wait a minute, I'm not alone..I have a great "air family". You are all such a blessing.

My health?? Yes, I made an appt with my pulmo.. June 30.. probably will want to update all my tests. Double Yukkkk
