Guest guest
You are so right Alana, when I do pre-think and set how I want to eat, I don't find myself eating too fast or falling into the clean plate routine. It also helps to give myself permission to stop when I've had enough. Old habits tend to kick in automatically. Its what I like and find useful about this forum - reminders like yours. ehugs, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > > Katcha, what you wrote about buffets reminds me of something Gillian (our moderator and IE coach) used tell was to ask yourself prior to an eating situation is to ask yourself, how do you want to feel at the end of your meal? What number do you want to be on the hunger scale? And then set that intention. Thanks for the reminder of this because it is something I could be asking myself, but I don't and then I end up over eating. > Alana
