Guest guest
HI and Welcome,I was in the same boat as you are now, and I"m sorry you are ill from your implants...it's shocking to realize that all of our health problems may indeed be from these implants that we were told were so safe....What kind of symptoms do you have?I was able to get my insurance to pay for some of the cost of explant, so it is possible, but you do have to find a doctor willing to write the letter to your insurance company that will help sway them in your favor. I know of one doctor that may be able to help you, but she is not in Washington state. We have two doctors listed for Washington, but we do not have any recent experience with them. You will have to let us know how your consultation goes if you use them. They may or may not admit that your implants are making you sick, and that is what makes it so frustrating when we are ill and need help. They don't always offer the help we need, and it makes the search filled with anxiety. We have a folder in our files section on the questions to ask at consultations regarding explant and alot of other helpful info. Please check it over...you definitely want a PROPER explant, which removes the scar tissue as well as the implants themselves. You do not want to leave that scar tissue behind in your body to create further troubles now or in the future. Please let us know how we can help you more! PattyWASHINGTON Wandra K. Guest guest
Thank you so much for your reply Patty! I spent a lot of time yesterday going through all the files and information you have here on the site. It is awesome how much there is! My sysmptom list is long and has been getting increasingly worse over the past couple of years. Constant pain in joints (shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, knees) Pain in my left breast (burning especially when trying to lie down to sleep) Numbness on the lower part of my left breast Numbness and tingling of my left hand and fingers Pain and occasional swollen glands under my left arm Intense left shoulder pain which became so bad I quit using the arm which I now have very limited motion in! (went to doc and did MRI said no major damage but fluid visible) Constant pain behind my left shoulder blade which radiates up my neck Constantly tired and never seem to be able to sleep well from pain waking me up Balance problems chronic IBS Ovarian cysts migraines Most days I feel achy all over like I have a flu coming on. I just feel stupid…like my brain isn't working like it used to! I contacted Dr.Kold by email the other day and she answered me back the very same day! I was amazed. We have had a few emails and she called to give me some more information. She is pretty sure that I have infected implants and my system is a mess. She seems like such a wonderful caring person. We have talked it over and are going to see about getting a loan so that I can see Dr Kolb and have her do my explant. She was pretty encouraging about the possibility of insurance paying. So at this point I am just trying to make it through one day at a time until I can make it happen...
