Guest guest
I've heard some diabetics say that diet pop can raise there sugar. is this true? I suppose the sugar substitute they use in sugar free drinks like pop and tea can't be good for you, but the sugar can be worse. I do like water my self, but I do enjoy my diet Dr. Pepper from time to time. dig eggnog too, but guess that falls under milk and isn't a good thing? another diabetic said when he puts splinda in his coffee it will raise his reading when he takes it later. If a diabetic can't even have diet drinks and that kind of stuff, well it sure does cut out a lot. Now you take that sugar free chocolate candy. one time I got me a sack of it. couldn't have been more then ten or 12 chocolate turtles in that small sack for about $5. I planned to only eat 2 a day, but they tasted so good I ate the whole bag in a couple of hours. well needless to say my wife just about kicked me and my back side to the curb that night. I had so much dain gas coming out my bottom that I all most thought I would shoot up in to the sky from the back pressure. I don't do that any more. I never knew that sugar free chocolate candy could do that to a person. but I did think about eating another whole sack the next time I joined a poker game with the boys just for the pure fun of it and to take there minds off the game! I sure don't know what in the world they put in that sugar free chocolate, but it can be mighty powerful and evil to say the least!
