Guest guest
I received this question in my email box....wanted to share the answer with the group in case anyone else needs this info. Q: I have saline implants that are leaking. Does anyone know the warranty/guarantee on them? Answer: It would depend on the company that made your implants. You can go to any internet search engine and put in "Mentor saline breast implant warranty" or "McGhan...." or "Inamed...." or whatever your manufacturer is and find the webpage that will explain it. For instance, Mentor's page is here: http://www.mentorcorp.com/breastsurgery/augmentation/cs_ba_warranty.htmPlease note that there is different information for those who had surgery prior to May 1, 2005. That link is here:http://www.mentorcorp.com/breastsurgery/augmentation/cs_ba_warranty-full-old.htmOne important thing to understand that is if you are having trouble with your health due to implants, the warranty is for replacement only, not for removal. In this case, the warranty does not provide the care you need, and removal is at your own expense. How is your health?Patty
