Hello and welcome...

I'm really sorry that you are experiencing these symptoms after having

implants for so long. Unfortunately this is what happens sometimes,

after the immune system basically breaks down and says, " I've had

enough. " Many times you may hear that it is aging, or something that

you just have to learn to live with, but I personally don't believe

that is true, after meeting so many women who have gotten sick after

having implants with the same constellations of symptoms.

There are no guarantees that you will heal fully with PROPER implant

removal, and you definitely won't heal fully with an improper removal,

so you want to make sure you have the implants taken out correctly

from the start. Have you discussed an " en bloc " removal with your

doctor, or at the very least, a total capsulectomy with drains? You

can check out explant folder for all of the information you need about

getting a proper explant. The bottom line is that you need to have

the scar tissue around the implant removed along with the implant at

your explant surgery. Not a partial scar tissue removal....a total

scar tissue removal.

The reason is that when your body is in a heightened state of immune

response, you will react to even the smallest amount of residual

implant residue, which will be all around that scar tissue. Many

doctors don't accept this idea and even insist that capsules dissolve

over the years...and that is just an unproven claim that leaves women

at risk. Better to get it done right the first time and get on with

healing.

I know how you feel about wanting your life back...I really do. I was

so sick I wanted to die and as much as I thought I liked those

implants, when it came down to the truth, I wanted my health much more

than any stupid fake boobs. I am so glad I got rid of them, because I

DID get better. Many women have....it just takes time, dear one, much

time, patience and some efforts to detox your body.

Don't be impatient to get better, though I know you are. My biggest

mistake in the early months after my explant was in expecting that I

would feel better right away, like pulling a bad tooth. Nope, the

immune system took some time to fall apart, so it definitely takes

some time to rebuild.

It may be that the reason these tests don't show any answers is

because they have not monitored what is going on with your whole

endocrine system--the adrenal glands, the thyroid, the sex hormones,

and all the rest of those very complex chemicals that cause actions to

happen in our bodies, on a very small scale. I personally had every

indication of adrenal fatigue when I got sick, and it was only my

naturopath that was able to identify it, and even then, we didn't

treat it completely. This is a many faceted illness, which is not well

understood, and our healing is a journey of discovery. Nothing is cut

and dried.

I live a full life once again, after being sick for over 4 years after

explant. I had saline implants for a short period of time...less than

a year. The devastation to my body was swift and severe, though I

looked just fine! Doctors were no help, and that is why I sought my

answers with alternative medicine, and there is where I found the

answers I needed. Holistic healing is key...and that includes

learning to love our bodies the way they are beautifully made.

I wish you healing...please make sure you get a total capsulectomy at

explant! Ask questions if you aren't sure! We're here to help!
