Guest guest
Hello Arlene and welcome. I would suggest you try another company. There are a numbear of them around. Do you have any kind of insurance at all? Prodigy strips are one of the least expensive ones, which is maybe why this company doesn't use them! I just joined the group, and I hope someone can help me. My insurance provider just signed me up with a mail order company to get my diabetic supplies by mail. I do not have Medicaid or Medicare. I have been paying for all of this stuff myself, and it is getting to expensive to do that. The problem is I have a Prodigy Voice, and it is working just fine. But the mail order company is insisting that they send me the Embrace glucometer. They are telling me that since I won't be able to set the time and date myself, that they will send me a new meter every the time changes. I personally think that is ridiculous. I asked if they could get me the Prodigy Voice strips, and they said no. I need to know what I need to do and where to go from here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Arlene
