Stimulus package includes $250 for Social Security and Supplemental Security Income beneficiariesAs a part of the national stimulus package, people receiving Social Security and/or Supplemental Security Income payments will receive a one-time economic recovery payment of $250 this year. The payments are scheduled to arrive on or before June 4. You do not have to do anything to receive this payment. However, if it does not arrive, you should call the Social Security Administration' s toll-free number 1-800-772-1213(TTY 1-800-325-0778) or contact your local Social Security office.The Social Security Administration has collected information about this payment in a leaflet.
