Guest guest
has anyone used the pre-cooked meals from http://www.angelfoodministries.com and if so, how did you like them? I understand their pre-cooked meals are good for diabetics and people who don't like to cook alot. My work schedule doesn't allow me much time at home to cook, and when I do cook, I prefer the microwave. thanks for any input. I also understand that they are farely cheap about $28-30 for 10 meals. Guest guest
Our church is involved with Angel Food. We've gotten a few boxes, but I think you'll find the food tends to be less than ideal for diabetics. For instance, most of the meats are breaded, or low grade (i.e. high fat ground beef). We've gotten a meat box which contained some usable meat, such as a whole chicken, and a fruit and vegetable box which contained some useful food, but some of it wasn't to our liking. You really need to look at the contents of the various boxes and make your choice. If you're used to this type of food, then it might work for you. Dave did you receive your NLS player yet?
