Guest guest
I usually take a nice tall glass of cold water with a twist of lemon or lime. If it gets really bad, then I have a few pieces of celery with a bit of cream cheese or a bit of natural peanut butter. really really hungry I quit smoking two months ago. Everything was fine for a while, then I started feeling ravenous about an hour after eating. My meals are substantial so I know I'm not really hungry. I have mostly given in to these cravings, but I don't want to gain weight. Does anyone have any tricks they use or foods they use that can help me through this phase? Guest guest
Are your meals nutritious though? It's not how much you eat, but what you eat. The appropriate percentages of protein, whole grain carbohydrates, and so called " good " fats are essential to satisfying appetite. Dave " ...In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! Guest guest
Hi, Type one here and I've quit smoking, twice. the first time I removed myself from every aspect that would trigger me to smoke and I stopped drinking for about a year. The second time I started to use nicobate mini tab lozenges and they worked great all whilst undergoing serology and a biopsy for coeliacs disease which was stressful and drawn out. Anyway I would recommend you drink water, or have a cup of tea. The time it took me to make a cup of tea and then drink it was enough to remove myself from the cravings and it filled me up. Just a thought. all the best. regards, Josh ________________________________ To: blind-diabetics Sent: Wed, 6 July, 2011 10:20:12 PM Subject: Re: really really hungry when my brother n law quit smokeing he would have a big bag of gum and thats how he quit . amy really really hungry I quit smoking two months ago.
