Someone offered:

one fourth cup of jalapenos. nothing to drink. my 2 hour reading was 141. I

know this is still to high, but dain if it hasn't been this low in a

while! my

meal didn't have more then a total of 20 carbs by going with the carb

counter I

got. does this mean I need to only eat 15 carbs at dinner and see what the

hour reading is and hope it is under 120? "

With someone just starting out with lower carbs it takes some time for

insulin resistance to decrease. Losing weight and exercise aid in lowering

insulin resistance. Just lower carbs in and of themselves have little

effect.
