Hi Friends

just wanted to say hello. I have made a committment

to not do diets/ food plans again. I just came off a intense

binge/ food plan cycle, that went on for months.

I just cant do it anymore. I was in greysheet anonymous, which fealt

like a straight jacket. And honestly, I feel so many rules

arround food was making my eating disorder worse.

Here is what is working for me now.

1 light structure arround food, right now 3 meals a day

and 2 snacks of anything, sugar or what ever.. unless I want

to eat treat foods for meals..

2) lots of self love, self awareness, journeling

3) paying attention to my hunger and full point

4) lots of inner self soothing talk, like " its ok

sweetheart, I trust you with food, we are ok now "

5)honoring what is working for me , whether others feel

different... as I have my own path and take bits and pieces

of others, that are in harmony with me..

I use to feel like an alcoholic with food, that if I have one

bite of the wrong food, sugar , ect, that the cravings are

unbearable, which they were... and I would have to binge.

but since I have lifted the restriction, I can eat small

portions of chocalate and all my so called forbidden foods

and be done with it with out binging.

I know I do need some boundaries as it causes alot of anxiety

for me, to not have any structure. So I plan my meals still

But am able to change if I dont like what I planned. As I do

at almost all meals.

Anyway, am so looking forward to getting to know this group.

You are my heroes.. I feel this loop is suporting my path..
