Bumping this thread back up to answer Tana's question...:)

To all of the newbies and not so newbie anymore:

There is a group called " IE Long Haul " for people who have been practicing IE

for at least 6 months. The focus there is more about keeping IE going after one

has learned and gotten most of the basics understood. Membership is by

invitation only and one must have posted enough here so that the new group has

an idea of one's commitment to non-dieting. We also hope that the newbies find

it comforting to know that there is a 'next level' that you can aspire to and

benefit from too.

Every quarter, I or someone else from the Long Haul group will re-initiate this

thread for anyone interesting in joining the IE Long Haul Group.

To request to join this group, please visit:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/IElonghaul/

Latoya

Practicing IE since January 2008

PS--in case anyone is wondering about the above 'signature', some of us type a

line about IE after our names for a couple of reasons: 1) to let newbies know

that yes, there are members who have practiced IE for more than a short time.

And 2) as a reminder to ourselves about far we each have come Everyone is

welcome to do this if they like.

Thanks for the info on that Latoya. I mostly just read and don't post, so this encourages me to join in a bit more.

Rhonda,

Great! Looking forward to reading more about your journey. Most of us don't have

other people in our areas that know about IE or who are incorporating more

natural eating principles. I felt so fortunate to have this group to share my

triumphs, challenges, ideas, and questions while receiving support and

additional ideas, especially at the beginning of my process.

:)
