Guest guest
I corrected my thyroid issue with selenium ONLY....been checking for 6 years now and it's stayed fine even with out me having to continue it now! It's a decent cumulation of everything I've been reading about thyroid support:naturalways.com - click on "fatigue: a common problem"It doesn't look like any of the supplements sold can touch what you are able to do with juicing. (Unless you want to take bovine thyroid). You will find that you're pretty much right on target with the juicer juice you make. Except cabbage: if the thyroid problem is more severe, they suggest you avoid it.Hope this helps, mama.-Tammy
Guest guest
yes you want about 200 mcgs a day in or 2 brazil nuts (the equivalent) selenium is also what binds up mercury in the body and flushes it out so it can't bind to organs which is why thyroid can go wrong when detox pathways don't work well, so being low is NOT good From: T Lynn Sent: Saturday, January 29, 2011 3:18 PM To: mb12 valtrex Subject: Re: Low thyroid Toni mentioned that, too - My older guy takes it - I think I'll add it to my little guy's arsenal. Sidenote about selenium for those interested: Many many people are deficient...not just ASD kids. Selenium is required for hundreds of functions in the body (much like magnesium). When something goes wrong, selenium can be a good place to look first. I stumble upon this pretty consistently in my reading. Hope this helps somebody sometime : ) To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sat, January 29, 2011 2:44:05 PMSubject: Re: Low thyroid I corrected my thyroid issue with selenium ONLY....been checking for 6 years now and it's stayed fine even with out me having to continue it now!
